Sears gas leaf blower no spark

Craftsman Model 358-704762 has no spark. I replaced the ignition module and adjusted the flywheel/module gap to 0.012 inches, still no spark. I can only conclude new module is bad. Is there any way to check the new module's integrity? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Disconnect the ground/kill wire from the coil/module and check for spark.
.012 should work but .010 might be better.

Yard Machines riding mower trouble

Hi, I just bought a 2001 Yard Machines riding mower. The model # is 13AM675GO62. It has a briggs 14.5 and a hydro tranny. Everything seems to work good except that when I release the brake pedal, the pedal shakes violently bouncing back and forth. I took the cover off in front of the seat. When the pedal is released, the front drive belt tightens and engages the variable speed pulley which then turns the transaxle. Is there a way to tell if it is the pulley or the belt that is bad? I can see some small chunks out of the belt. The belt also is all over the place when the belt is engaged. Thanks for any help.Read More
