briggs and stratton 18.5 hp carb diaphragm problems

Ive got a briggs and stratton 18.5 hp twin mod#422777-1281-01 (3 screw fuel pump)(scotts) mower.I recently took the diaphragm out to put a new one in and of course one of the small springs fell out,the big spring and the other small spring stayed in and i can tell where they go (i thought it only had the one big spring in it)I don't know where the other small spring goes , ive looked at several carb diagrams and none of them show the 2 small springs and where they go . does anybody have a diagram or any idea where they go. hep please

They go on either side of the check valve flaps on the diaphragm, one on one side on the little post, and one on the other side of the other flap.

Can you think of a reason me purchased carburetor repair kit did not contain those two springs?
