Clean fuel system? Have you removed and cleaned the carb?

yes.................removed and cleaned and also the two strainers

What happens if you try to start it after adding a small amount of gas into the spark plug hole and reinstalling the plug?

plug and new plug getting "wet" from fuel .....float level is ok....tried quick start..........acks like improper ignition even tho i see a spark when testing for spark...my background is datsun/nissan tec...........

Try a new plug, especially if it has an NGK in it.

got honda to start and run great! Moral of story is i will yearly, while engine running fast spray carb cleaner down throat of carb in quick blast for one to four minutes....thx for following my story..........
