Kohler ch20 bogging down

Hi, I have a 1997 Grasshopper 720K, Kohler ch20 Spec. 64510 with 960 hours and never had any problems until now. It starts fine, doesn't smoke but when I begin mowing it boggs down, blows oil out the breather tube at the carb. and throws a lot of oil out at the PTO shaft. It only throws the oil when I try to mow. I installed new Grasshopper belts at the clutch ( the old ones were fine but soaked with oil ) replaced the reed valve and breather filter, new air filter, fuel filter, checked the governor setting and throttle linkage. The compression is 135 on the left bank and 127 on the right. The slow leak test had a small amount of air coming from the dip stick tube. When I pull a plug wire off, one at a time, at idle the engine does not die so I believe the coils are OK. Can anyone offer other ideas or advise. Thanks for your help.

Kinda sounds like a blown head gasket to me, or overfilled oil level.
