mantis tiller flooding

I have a mantis tiller. It started dripping gas from the carb. Then I could only start it by pulling the plug, cleaning it, and blowing out the cylinder. Then I could not start it at all. I do not know to much about small carbs. I took it apart to see if there was anything obvious, nothing. Cleaned it and put it back together. This carb does not appear to have a float. Do I need a rebuild kit, or is there something else?

Yes you need to rebuild the carb,, The diaghraghms on these small carbs get stiff & won;t flex when the engine demands them to,,,, Replace the kit & fuel lines & make sure you have fresh fuel mix in it & you should be good - to - Go!!!!
