Stihl fs 46 weed eater

I am running a stihl fs 46 weed eater with the head using three plastic blades. Last using one of the blades wedged in the head causing smoke to come out of the top of the head now the head will not work correctly. I removed the head and found pieces of twisted and shredded plastic. What damaged have I done.

where did you find the pieces of twisted and shredded plastic? is it part of the attachment?

I found it between the guard and the round metal that touches the guard

Steering problems and parts questions - Craftsman riding mower

I have a Craftsman 917.270781 and the steering has been messed up lately. I've looked at the steering assembly diagram that Sears has online, but I can't tell which parts I'll need. The tires still rotate, but the steering wheel itself has no influence on the direction of the mower. (My husband's been following behind it on foot and kicking the tires to get it to cover the spots that need to be mowed, haha.) The steering wheel will do a 360 degree rotation and never catch. I know for sure that we'll need a new steering shaft assembly and probably a new wheel adapter. Could anyone suggest anything else we might need? I'd hate to order a box full of parts and miss something crucial. :confused:Read More

I have a Sears mower (143 996510) with a Tecumseh engine (LEV120). The primer bulb clearly needs to be replaced. Is there a secret to removing the old bulb? I always hate to start prying on parts unless I am sure that is the thing to do. Are primer bulbs interchangeable? Will most any Tecumseh bulb do? Any chance a B&S bulb would work? Thanks,Read More
