legal to travel with mower full of gas?
upon getting my mower back from the local shop, i found it wasn't just low on gas, it was bone dry. It had a full tank when i brought it in because it broke shortly after the last start
I know it can run 1/2 hour on a tank when i do my front yard and certainly a few test starts dont use much gas so the only thing left i thought of was that it's illegal for them to give me the mower with gas in it?

I'd imagine that it was drained to do the repair work both for safety and to eliminate messy spills. They may have forgotten to refill and what was in the bowl may have been enough for any testing.
Just a guess...no small engine repair shop expert..lol.
