Arrow I NEED HELP with CRAFTSMAN...AGAIN

Craftsman Weedwacker Model 358791010 3 yrs. old, used maybe 20 hours...replaced fuel lines, spark plug and fuel filter after using Spray Carb cleaner, even though it looked CLEAN....because engine would start and run fine power until one engaged for use... then died.....after doing all above it wouldn't even start..WHAT NOW?....New Carb ?...Is 3 years all we get of use from Crapsman anymore
(my little joke, but not so funny anymore )

The trimmer is made by Poulan, and unfortunately, all the lower end name brand trimmers are pretty much junk nowadays. They aren't rated for many hours. Look at the prices of good trimmers though, and it puts things into perspective a little bit. A decent trimmer (homeowner model, not commercial duty) from Stihl costs $300, so for an $89 trimmer, 3 to 5 years is probably a good bet, depending on usage.

As for what's wrong with yours... does it have spark? What is the compression? Will it start with some gas dribbled into the spark plug hole? Does the primer prime up?

Spark plug gap set correctly?

That's just my new favorite response after replacing the spark plug in my riding mower and having a lot of unnecessary difficulty after assuming they came properly gapped for all applications.

Yes..it starts up just fine...it's when it is engaged to trim that it just dies out/bogs down. I have cleaned the carb...twice and no better than it was...next step is to look at exhaust area...I just don't get it.
