Stihl Farmboss MS 290 query

Stihl MS 290 that will not start or even pop.
It has great blue spark that lights up even in a sunlit bay. Compression I can get 110...fuel/starting fluid in the plug hole still does not even offer to fire.
Being in the middle of logging country, these fellas learn early how to take care of their livelihood so I only see general service/fuel issues or just shot...with chainsaws.

Normally I would go after timing but not even sure how or if these things are keyed or....

I had it planned for a winter project, but things are slowing and the first plunge from the gulf of Alaska is approaching...I got wood to get outa the brush and my lil Husky 36/16" is kinda tired

Looking for any direction and ideas that might improve my motivation...

Wouldn't hurt to check the flywheel key, remove the muffler and try without it, and use a new plug...especially if it's an NGK plug. (For some reason I see so many of those that spark nicely but not at the right time for some reason).

God bless!

It was an NGK plug but new one did not help. Muffler looks clean too...doin some unplanned remodeling myself, water heater and bathroom
So might be a bit till I get back to it.
Thx for the reply.
