Boling lawn tractor rear drive belt

Nee help replacing rear drive belt on boling or mtd model-13am761f Serial 1l108h20068 Have removed the battery can see the 3 pulleys where the belt came off of but can't get the belt on the main pulley because of lack of clearance in one spot. Can anyone help. Thanks

Hello timtoolman9,


If your speaking of the double pulley (variator), Set the parking brake, Loosen the 3/8" thru bolt holding it in place just enough to tilt it a little for more clearance.

If you are speaking of the transaxle pulley some have to be loosened and shifted as well to gain clearance, But if the trans pulley is loosened make sure it goes back on the star shaped hub properly before re-tightening.
