Lawnboy DuraForce Silver Pro 6.5 HP - White Smoke

Picked up this mower for FREE - Runs, sounds and cuts good, but lots of white smoke polluting the air. Started on first pull. Smells a bit gassy. What could be the matter?

Also, what is the standard gas/oil ration for this engine.

If this is the model with the briggs&stratton engine, you don't mix oil with the gas, it is a 4 cycle engine.

Have a 5-year old Homelite Chainsaw 16" 33cc. Starts great. Idles Great. Cuts like a hot knife through butter. Once it warms up, it will stall from idle no matter how carefully you pull the trigger. Found out thiis weekend that if I am idling and flip the choke halfway out, I can accelerate to full speed and then push in the choke and cut like crazy. Working at 8600' so I figured it was running rich, but the choke fix would indicate that it might be too lean. Ideas?? Thanks FJRead More

Model Honda GX390 for a 6500 Watt Generator 389 cubic cm Serial #: GCAA-3903615 Remote throttle linkage The engine starts right up, idles fine and runs fine at high rpm. I can move the throttle, but it does not stay there, it only wants to go back to idle. With the engine off, the throttle plate moves easily. I think I have the carburetor clean because it used to only run with choke closed and would run rough or surge with it open. Shouldn't I be able to set the throttle position, what is pushing it back down to idle?Read More
