Poulan P3314 chainsaw cutting issues
I have a Poulan P3314 I got used it runs and idles fine but when I go to cut it bogs out pretty good as soon as the chain its the wood the chain is new and sharp the wood was only 2-3 inches round could it be a carb ajustment issue or something else when i mean bogs down the chain almost stops and the engine lags im not putting any pressure Im just letting the chainsaw do the work

Start with fresh fuel mixed right, then....
If you have two adjusting screws on the carburetor, Take the saw out of the cut and adjust the L until you have a quick acceleration. Then go to the H and turn it out until you get a good exhaust smoke at full throttle. Then a slight turn (about a 1/16) back in.
Your base for fine tuning is 1 1/2 turn out from lightly seated. Always set the H (high speed) screw slightly rich (counter clock) for running. A lean mixture is death on a two stroke.
If you can't get the above adjustments to make it work, the carb will need a kit put in it. Also change the filter in the tank.
