plugged fuel line

I just bought a 2009 Ariens mower and it continually stalls and the fuel filter is empty. If I remove the line from the fuel tank and blow it out backward, everything works fine. Something is plugging inside the tank. Can anyone tell me how to get to the obstruction without taking the whole mower apart?

sounds like a gas cap vent is plugged. Check the vent holes in the gas cap.
