Generators w/ Gen Head that includes a shaft

Hello all,

Here is the story I have a 14hp Kohler Vertical Shaft Engine mounted on an old commercial mower frame. I thought this would be a great generator as it would be easy to move since it has its own transmission and I can turn the generator off an on using the magnetic clutch for the belt.

So after looking for old generators people may want to get rid of with bad engines, I came across a big issue, most do not have a shaft protruding from the gen head that I can use for a pulley. I may need to upgrade any bearings in the head doing this

Question 1: So is there any generators out there that have a gen head which has its own shaft protruding?

Question 2: Are there any shafts I could use for gen heads that don't have their own shaft?
