Craftsman snowblower sometimes doesn't move. model 536.881850

Sometimes the belt or whatever controls the wheel drive seems to slip. If i change direction or push it manually it generally catches. Does something need adjusting?

Could be time for a new belt. The Original Equipment belt is the best. Aftermarket belts do not last as long or work as well.

Ariens snow blower

I have a Ariens snow blower with a Tecumseh engine. The blower is less than 3yrs old. I always run my equipment out of gas at the end of the season. Now my blower will only run on partial choke. I have fresh gas in it, new spark plug, and did remove the fuel bowl which was totally clean. Now I'm removing the carb to clean that out. Now fuel runs out of the line with no problem with the carb removed. so I'm guessing something is plugging the carb pick-up and it's not getting enough fuel. I recently purchased at 1978 Ariens snowblower. However I want to clean the float bowl and see there are some gaskets located on the engine. I can't seem to locate a part number anywhere. Its running lean so I know it needs to be done and probably hasn't ever been done since it was manuafactured. Model # 924032. I basically want to give it a nice tune up. I have done the other basics, oil, lubrication, spark plug. But its coughing when I use it which tells me no one has done much to it but ignore it like bad cold.:wall:Read More
