How To Remove My Push Lawn Mower's Wheel or What Tool/s Do I Need?

Hi everyone,

I'm having trouble removing the wheels for my push lawn mower since I will not need them for a project I'm using the mower for.

Here are some pictures of what's holding the wheels on my lawn mower frame:

It looks like they had to use a hammer or something to slide that washier looking thing over the rod, but I'm just not sure how you are suppose to take it off. Older lawn mower usually just have a nut you can unscrew.

You have to pry or cut them off. They will be destroyed in the process most likely. They aren't made to be removed.
