Toro 521 Snowthrower flange bearing replacement
First, does anyone know where I can find a repair manual for my Toro 521 (m/n 38052, 1984 unit)?
Second, I am in the process of replacing the flange bearing on the auger assembly. I am wondering if this needs to be greased? If so, with what kind of grease?
As far as I can tell, the flange bearing is just a "guide" for the auger shaft to go through? I don't see how its an actual bearing that turns. As far as I can tell, it has a copper sleve inside the bearing and that doesn't move, the auger shaft just rotates inside it?
Please help if you can. Thanks.

The Toro
Thats a bronze or an oilite bushing. It is more or less self lubricating, but you can put a couple of drops of just about any motor oil on them. the shaft rotates at a relitively low speed and they should last the life of the machine [with a drop or two of oil once a year].
