install drive cable on craftsman snow thrower

Drive cable on my craftsman snow thrower broke (m#247.88755) and I am not sure where it attaches underneath because the spring fell off when it broke. It is a self propelled model 179 cc 22''.I live in Rhode Island and we are due for another big storm on Wed. 2/2. Any help would be appreciated.

It attaches to a lever on the transmission.

Which part are you having trouble with? Are you also missing the spring that goes between the cable and the lever on the transmission? Is the arm on the transmission missing?

Took the machine in the cellar where it was a little warmer and after looking at it a little closer figured it out . Thanks for your replies A J and Pilot Dane.
