Cub Big Country wont start
My big country 6X4 utility Vehicle has a Honda (GX620) motor. After winter it woud not start. Tried new battery; then put in new starter motor. With new starter motor in, when I turn key I got only a single 'click' at the starter motor. Thinking that I might have run down my new battery (rasing and lowering the truck bed) I hooked the battery to my car battery with jumpers - the engine seemed to try to start properly (the engine turned over but did not fire). For 5 or 6 attempts, each time I turned the key I got a proper attempt from the starter. I took a lunch break, when I got back I tightened one spark plug and attempted to start. I was back to nothing but a click at the starter: engine will not even attempt to turn over. Does anyone have any ideas what the issue is

Hello mesherrard
More than likely the carb float needle valve has leaked fuel into a cylinder and hydro locked the engine.
Remove both spark plugs and GROUND both spark plug wires so they don't jump spark, Then grab the clutch and rotate the engine by hand. See if fuel pours from the cylinders, If so clean/repair the carb. Also check the crankcase oil level, When this happens fuel runs past the rings and dilutes the oil and causes a high reading. Change as needed....
Good Luck
