tecumseh 5hp runs 2 minutes shuts off
I have a hssk50 it runs 2 minutes then shuts off. I put new gas,new carburator,and new spark plug no help. any other advice?

Does it shut off as if you turned it off or does it act like it ran out of gas. It it acts like you turned it off check for spark as soon as it quits, the coil might be failing, if it acts like it is running out of gas try running with the fuel cap loose, it may not be venting properly, also on some the fuel cap has a bell shaped attachment in it that will come off and block the fuel outlet. Thanks for the info. There is no spark. I let the engine sit for a while then I have spark. I regaped the spark plug to .035 and now it runs but when I shut it down it won't start until engine cools down. I think I will change the ignition module.
