John Deere LA 130 Starting

Hello- I purchased a home with a Generac generator system installed. The power lines were going through a window, so I set off to install it through the wall to make it all nice and professional. In disconnencting and reconnecting the wires, something went wrong and now it does not exercise and when turned to auto, all four red lights and the green light blink non-stop. I have verified that the wires are all connectyed properly, the fuses in the box inside are good. Approximately 10 seconds after turning it to auto, the system starts up. It has been about a month now, and it appears the battery is also dead/dying as it will just click when I attempt to manually exercise it. Any experience with this situation? Thanks

Hello all. Hello Cheese. Now that Im hopefully over my carb leaking issue Id like to ask about the Hydro Gear in that tractor. Its a 1996 Craftsman model 917.256890 and Ive never had any problems with the functioning of Hydro Gear. But when I went to pull it out of the garage a few weeks ago afteer it leaked gas I noticed a pretty good oil puddle under the Hydro Gear. I dont recall anything like that in the previous 15 years. According to my tractor owner manual the Hydro Gear is model 310-0500. How do I tell if the unit now has enough oil in it? Do I (or should I) pull the unit out of may tractor to see where it leaking? Can the leak be repaired without tearing the unit down? What type and how much oil does it take? Thanks Paul
