Where is the oil filter

Does anyone know where the oil filter is on a Craftsman Lawn Tractor model917.255430 with Briggs & Stratton engine model 286707, type 0441? I can't find it referenced anywhere.

Welcome to the forums! I don't think that model BS engine incorporates an oil filter. If Craftsman made an aftermarket, it would definitely be fairly easy to locate and change.

No oil filter on that model. it is a "splash" system

How to repair plastic gas tank?

I have a lawnboy model 10301.It has a plastic gas tank and shroud. The bottom of the tank has a leak.Can it be repaired? I have been looking for a replacement tank but i havent found one yet.It is a 1973 model 10301.Thanks.

Model - Honda HRX217HXA Lawn Mower I just changed the oil and a new air filter and some gas. The engine started on the second pull, some small white smoke, then it turned on with no problem. Now whether I am cutting grass or just moving the mower with full throttle speed its tends to move very slow, any ideas? It cuts great, just moves at a turtles pace, very very slow. Oh yeah, I also changed out the sparkplug last year. Thanks for any and all help in advance. G5
