Roybi 825r 4-Cycle Gas Trimmer

I have a Ryobi 825r 4-cycle gas trimmer that worked fine last fall, when I go it out this spring I can't get it to run. When I prime it it runs for a few seconds and then stalls when the fuel is spent. It is leaking fuel from somewhere, I can't identify where but I suspect the fuel line from the tank to the carburetor has a hole in it but I haven't tore down anything to get into it. Any suggestions on what I should do next?

It is possible that the float and needle valve are sticking and causing the gas to run straight through the carb and not shutting off. You will need to check that if you find no holes in your fuel line.

This doesn't have a float to worry with. If a fuel line is leaking, that could be the cause of both problems. Fix that first and then post back if you have more trouble.
