Kohler CV22S not charging
Any comments on the charging system on the Kohler 22HP engine. My owners manual has no parts lists for the charging system ie Rectifier, Regulator etc.

There are 3 wires at the voltage rectifier connector. With the engine running and the connector unplugged, there should be AC voltage on both outer legs... probably 30 volts or more. There should be battery voltage on the middle leg of the connector. On the rectifier, there should be continuity from the outer legs to the middle leg, but not the other way around.
