Husqvarna 125BT Won't start.

Received this from a friend as a gift. About 2 years old, ran great when I got it, but leaked fuel. Turned out there was a small tear where one of the fuel lines connects to the motor (carb?? not sure). I was able to just trip off this 1mm piece and reconnect.

After this repair, it wont start. Every now and then I can get it to start but it stalls right away after. I replaced the spark plug just to be sure, but still no start.

Before I bring this in for repair, any suggestions on what to look for?

Are you setting the choke to start it and priming the carb? Sounds like there is not enough fuel in the fuel bowl or is not choked if it only strats for a few seconds.
Here is a link to the owners manual, it will show you how to start the engine: Husqvarna 125BT blower Product Manual | uberManuals
Good Luck.
