anyone know where the linkage goes to my carb

14.5 brigs and straton mod #287707-1255e1 I need to find out where the linkage hooks up too on the carb.

There should be a semi triangular plate with about 3 holes in it which directly operates the throttle butterfly and goes to the governor. The linkage will hook into one of those holes. I usually put it in the middle one for starters and make sure the butterfly opens fully. If not, move it to a hole that allows it.

There should be a hole with a grommet in it and this would be the one that the throttle linkage connects to. It's the hole closest to the engine with the carb installed I believe. Hook the linkage up from the bottom. The choke has a drop-down area with a hole in it and that's where the choke linkage connects.
