Generator ventilation

My generator is presently in my shed, and I to put it in it own in-closer. My question is ventilation. I plan on venting both ends, with a box fan on one end for air movement. Do I want the fan to blow in one end, and out the other. Or do I want the fan to suck the air in one end and out the other. witch way would be more effective.

Fans are generally more effective at pushing air so I would have your fan blowing into the enclosure. Just make sure you leave enough open space for the air to exit at the other end.
