Spring keeps popping on Troy bilt trimmer

I have a Troy Bilt trimmer (TB425CS). The hook part of the spring keeps popping out when I start the egine. I rewound it and it kept doing it about every other time. I bought a new spring. Now it does it about every 5 times or so. Any ideas would be helpful. Thanks

Sounds like the plastic part it catches on is worn. Maybe bend the spring so that it grabs it tighter or replace the part it hooks on to.

Thanks, My issue was slight stupidity. I had the slot on the disk (that the coil sits in) lined up w/ the slot on the platic housing, where the coil hooks onto. This didn't allow the hook to lie all the way in. I, slid the disk to the right and it allowed more of the hook to lay flat up against the plastic. No idea if how I'm explaining it makes sense, but thanks for the response.
