How many holes are in the fuel tank Ryobi 725r

Hi All.

I am new here. I got a used Ryobi 725r and wasn't running but after some clean up it started working but fuel leaks out of the tank. There is a hole ( a perfect round hole) under the tank next to the fuel line with filter.I am not sure if it is supposed to be like that or is it supposed to be closed. I also noticed that on the bulb there is a nipple which penetrates when i push the bulb. Is that supposed to be tubed back to this hole? On this hole on the tank there is no nipple, so I am not sure how it will be connected if it is so. Please help what to do with this hole as its function.

If you have any diagram would be great.

The return line goes from the fitting on the carb to the hole in the tank. You must get the proper size line and it will fit into the hole tightly.

 

Thanks cheese. Just figured out and got a kit from home depot. I think it did the trick. Will check tomorrow for any leak.
