B&S intek pro 206 has no spark

Hi all- I recently purchased a [URL="http://www.homedepot.com/buy/electrical/alternative-energy-solutions/husky/generator-3750-watt-77063.html"]new generator[/URL] which has a Briggs and Stratton OHV 4 stroke engine on it. I bought this for emergency use only. I hope I never even have to run it. Anyway, I assembled it, and it will be sitting in a climate controlled basement (65F to 70F, little to no humidity). I have not even put gas or oil in it or even started it once as I figure once I do that, I have to start worrying about stale gas, oil, and storing the motor for long periods. I read on this forum and others that gas goes stale and engines need to be run relatively often or you need to take steps to store them properly. However, in my situation, this engine will never see gas or oil until I run it for the first time. So in this situation, what should I do? Is it OK to have this motor sitting factory fresh in a climate controlled storage area indefinitely with no oil or gas? What steps should I take to ensure that this machine will be ready to go when needed? thanks for you advice.

Hello everyone, new guy here. I know this will sound pretty basic, but I'm attempting to sharpen my mower blades. Mower is a zero turn with two blades. I don't want to remove the deck, so I'm trying to get the blades off with the front wheels of the machine up on my car ramps. The nuts do turn counter clockwise to loosen as one would expect, correct? I sprayed with WD40 a few minutes prior to trying to loosen. I've got a piece of pipe about three feet long that I put over the end of the wrench for gobs of torque, but still did not loosen. I have now sprayed some more WD40 and will let sit until tomorrow. Any suggestions? Additional info: I've had the mower for about five years now and the blades have never been off before. Some of you are probably going into cardiac arrest after hearing that. Or maybe not.
