Troy built 10hp generator

I am trying to get the armature separated from the engine! I have tried everything except C-4! ANY suggestions would be helpful

The first suggestion I have is to post some model, engine and all the other numbers you can find from the equipment. There is a lot of stuff out there with a Troybilt name on it. C-4 only exposes what is holding it together. Have a good one. Geo

Put a block of wood on the end of the armature shaft, then hit the block of wood to knock the armature sideways hard enough to give it a good jolt, but not hard enough to bend things. This works for me. (make sure the long bolt in the middle is out).
