Lawn mower won't continue running
Hi all - lawn mower (toro 6.5) was working fine last week. Went to start it this week and found that it will start but only stary running a few seconds.
It has plenty of gasoline....
any suggestions on where to start?

I would start by cleaning the carburetor. It sounds like it's running on the starting prime and the jet is not delivering fuel to keep it running.

Also check the fuel filter - if you haven't replaced it now is a good time. An engine demanding gas will suck dirt particles into the filter until it clogs and shuts down the fuel supply.
At the same time that you are cleaning the carb remove and clean or replace the air filters.
