runs but it don't run!!!!
I have a poulan riding mower 42" cut 18.5 hp b/s intek. The proplem i have is unit will start up and runs great. The engine will die as soon as the brake/clutch pedal is released will not make a diffrents if setting in seat or off as soon as you release pedal it dies need help thanks

there is a problem with your safety switches , likely the seat one is always closed , even when seat is occupied.
or the wiring to the seat switch is grounded somewhere, maybe a squished wire.

Yep, but on AYPs like this, there is that switch within the connector. Unplug it and it thinks no-one is on the seat.
