KingCraft Generator

Good Morning, I'm working on a generator for my son. It's a KingCraft and appears to not have a good rep on the internet. Most people are saying JUNK.Anyway it doesn't have enough compression to start with gas in the cylinder. Will start with ether but it doesn't take much compression for ether.Anyway squirted some oil in the cylinder and compression comes right up to 75+ pounds, some I'm thinking either stuck ring or broken.Doesn't someone make a chemical that you can put in the cylinder that will free up a sticking ring?I seem to remember something like this years ago.
I haven't pulled the head or anything yet because I don't think parts are easy to come by.

I loaded the cylinder on a Echo blower that was froze with PB Blaster for several days and it came loose, try it you might get lucky, I would give it a few days to work. Have a good one. Geo

Never been to Greenville as I remember, I sold a fast 68 elCamino to a guy from Greenville in 68-69. I thought George Grubb was rare until I got one of those listing of all the Grubbs in the US several years ago, there were 47 George Grubb, I sent them all Christmas cards, some were returned, some had died, however it was a very interesting experiment and some of the responses were awesome.

Have a good one. Geo

If the PB Blaster doesn't work, you might want to try Marvel mystery oil, that is one of the things it is made for. It is for gas and oil treatment. I put it in my boat motor every fall, and it turns over just fine in the summer. And I also use it on all my tool, to keep them running fine.
