Cub Cadet 2135 Tractor Oil Leak But Don't Know Where
Hello all ... my tractor is leaking oil
... It has the Kohler Command OHV 13 HP engine. I had change the oil recently, but am sure I closed the value properly:NO NO NO:. There is oil spatter on the left side of the engine if you are sitting on the tractor, covering part of the coil and the starter, and it appears some oil is coming out of the time where a cable comes out.
Any one have any idea how I can locate this leak?
I'm losing a 1/2 pint to a pint of oil after a three hour or more cut.

On the left side... that would be where the oil filter is. Since it sounds like this started after changing the oil, I would suspect that the leak is coming from around the oil filter. It could be that the old filter gasket was stuck to the engine and when you put the new one on, it was over top of the old one, or maybe the new filter isn't on good?

Problem Solved :)
It took me a while to get around to checking out where the leak was coming from ... didn't have to use the mower until yesterday ... the oil filter was loose ... dummy me
