31cc Bolens trimmer has no spark. If I read my ohm meter correctly the coil primary resistance is about 1000 ohms. I bought the trimmer at a garage sale noing it would not start but suspected fuel problems. Since I have no spark I need some trouble shooting suggestions

Hi to all, just finishing up the last of the yard work and ran out of line for the trimmer, it is a Huskyvarna 125C if it reallyt matters (I suspect it won't). The spec is for .095-.106" line. There are several lines available in either .095 or .105", so either would work. Any opinions on which to go with? On the line brand, there is a power center near me which handles Tanaka products. These seem to be really the "pro's choice" according to what is written by Tanaka, any experince with their line? The same power center I believe may also carry Husky, which I know has their following too, so I could go with a good line from them as well. Is there another line anyone would like to recommend to me? I just have grass to trim, nothing really out of the ordinary, I do like using the trimmer to edge the sidewalk as well, which I know is tough on the line. Thanks Gilly
