This site only seems to list replacement parts (which will come in handy if this puppy breaks down) but not the manual itself.

Help! Snowblower won't start.

MTD Yard Machines (24") 179cc Two-Stage Snow Blower Model: 31AM62EE700 I've had this for 3yrs and to prepare for old man winter here in Chicago, I tried start it up and it cranks and starts then dies after couple secs. Many people said I may need to replace the spark plug so I did but same thing's happening. I put fresh gasoline and oil's new too. Does this mean I'd need to clean out the carburetor? I'm not very mechanical and don't even know what it looks like? Any suggestion before I seek a professional?

Toro S-200 no start

Hi It is an oldie 1981 Toro Snow Blower S-200 model #38120 2 stroke Tecumseh. It has spark, the fuel line was swelled. I cleaned the fuel tank, replaced the line. I also replaced the diaphragm, cleaned the needle and seat, removed the low and high speed jets and cleaned them. Cleaned out all the passages I could see. It will run if I pour some gas down the carb. I adjust the jets ( that maybe a problem) it will idle, accel and run high speed no problem. Shut it off and it will not start without pouring some fuel down the carb. Thanks for any advise Larry
