Honda GX390 Valve question
Found a bent intake push rod on this engine. Intake Valve seemed to be hanging up slighty on the way up. I removed head and removed the exhaust valve. When I went to remove the intake valve, I had to tap it out to get it by the valve seal. Is this normal or is the top of the valve stem maybe mushroomed ?? I am going to clean both valve stems and put it back together. Piston seems ok. Any other checks I should be doing would be appreciated.

Just make sure the valve moves freely in it's normal operating range. Clean the stem and the guide and make sure the valve isn't bent.
