Question Spare engine for B&S 8hp

Hi,

I will replace the B&S 8hp engine type 190455 with a new one. (I'm not sure because I didn't see the number good) Which engine can I use?

First, try to match the engine's shaft size and rotation direction, then pick one with a physical size that will fit. You do not have to stay with B&S. A different brand may be a better fit.

Since you are wanting to go to a larger engine size you will probably have to do some modifying. Most any brand (B&S, Tecumseh, Robin, Honda, Kohler and there are many Chinese copies sold under different names). Here is a company in the USA that sells a variety of small engines. At least it will give you an idea of what is available and the cost. I am sure you can find most of these engines in Europe.
