I am making a cam shaft for a single cyl and need to know the lift on the lobes?

You are asking cam shaft dimensions and do not even say what engine you have????

917-271080 16hp Craftsman Riding Mower Kohler Engine surges

I have a 16hp Kohler Engine on a Craftsman lawn tractor. It starts fine, runs fine, and has plenty of power. The issue is that when it is low RPM, the engine surges RPM up and down. It also does so at high RPM if not under load but is a lot less noticable. I have rebuilt the carb making sure the openings were all clear. I pulled the aluminum plug and cleaned out the two holes. I replaced the plug. I also have replaced the needle valve and installed new gaskets. The filter is fine with a flow rate of about 1/4 gallon per minute. Any help appreciated.

This motor is on a j deere LA110 mower mod#31P677 TYPE0130E1 CODE 060728ZE When i run machine i get oil out of hose going to fuel pump this hose comes from tube where you fill oil.Oil is not over filled took compression test about 80 lbs.When i take off crankcase breather hose at carb. and run engine the hose is letting out blue smoke and if i leave this hose off and run motor i don't get oil from hose to fuel pump.the funny thing is the mower starts right up every time and runs pretty good. any help much appreciated.
