Engine pulley orientation on Toro 824 snowblower

Does anyone know which orientation the double engine pulley goes back on a Toro 824 snowblower? Does the smaller diameter pulley go toward the front of the snowblower or the back?

Parts and Diagrams for Toro Consumer 38540, 824 Power Shift Snowthrower, 1990 (SN 0000001-0999999)

If this looks like yours...seems like the smaller one is closer to the engine.

With the full model number that site should have a diagram.

Thanks for the information. That diagram does not look exactly like my engine. It is a Tecumseh HM80. I think the one part pulley with 2 grooves is part # 74-1370. I've tried it in both orientations and I think the smaller diameter groove should be toward the back of the snowblower. I should have paid more attention when I took it off.

Yep...digital pictures during dis-assembly are really the way to go. I remember when all we had was a Polaroid or a pencil and paper before that.

I'd guess you have it figured out by now so here's a picture I just took of my Toro 824 just in case.
