Simplicity riding mower pto prblem

Hello all.Im new this forum,and was hoping for some tech support.I have a 2006 Simplicity riding mower.It is a Regent model...22hp intek B&S motor.I mowed this past saturday and it did great as always. when I went to finish mowing sunday,the blades would not engage via the pto engagement switch.The switch that you have to engage to back up when blades are on appeard to still be working.meaning the lite came on.any ideas? thanks for your time and help in advance

Is the belt on? If so, you will need to check for voltage to the clutch.

B&S OHV engine turns but won't start.

I added fuel, added oil, cleaned the air filter and pre-filter and engine won't start. Engine turns but never starts. Removed one of the spark plugs to check it and then put a spark tester on the wire to check for spark. The other spark plug was still installed. I turned the key and the mower started up. Re-installed spark plug and mower won't start. Did the same thing with the other spark plug and again mower started with just one spark plug installed. I'm assuming if mower started I have fuel, air, and spark. Can someone point me in the right direction. It ran fine last december. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.Read More

I tried starting my mower turn the key and nothing happen so I checked the battery (good and charged) I then used a jumper cable from the battery to the starter and the engine started and ran just fine. I shut it down and tried again nothing. I wiggled the wires on the solenoid and it started once. Long and short I have replace the solenoid and the ignition switch still nothing. Any suggestions on what I should try next.Read More
