lawn tractor engine only makes one revolution then stops

I put a new battery in my lt1000, it has new oil, new gas, its been stored in my garage for a couple years and it might have an hours if that of actual run time, everything is new.
when I turn the ignition , it makes 1 ful revolution then it stops I dont want to continue messing with it to avoid bending a rod or something, Im not sure if its a cylinder or what, but it ran fine when I parked it, any resolutions for this issue?

Take the spark plug out and move the plug wire away from the plug hole and see if oil or gas shoots out the plug hole when you crank it. Do not let the plug wire be anywhere where it can spark while you're doing this.
