Small 2-stroke generator not running smoothly
Hi all,
I just got a small 2-stroke generator to charge my laptop. It is 950W - a pretty cheap little Chinese unit.
So the thing is that it isn't running smoothly at all unless the choke is on. Kinda pulses/revs every second and this is reflected with pulsing power output. It's brand new, only run about 5hrs so far, some with the choke fully on, some with just a little bit of choke. I'm running a 50:1 oil mix, I read maybe it should be a bit richer? I'm in Sierra leone so temps are often above 30degrees C.
So is there anything I need to change? Or does it just need to be run in a bit? Any advice much appreciated. Thanks
