We have a stihl weedeater where i stared working and so it wouldn't start, the boss said its just been laying around for yrs. Anyway its a big one with the handle bars. I cleaned the carburator on it, and put a new plug in it, and I had that thing singing. Ran it 4 hrs the next day. a week later I grag
bbed it and went to start it and it fired but didn"t stat, so i took the ckoke off and tryed and nothing, tryed another plug and it fired one time and thats it, it was running great when i put it up, I can't remember the model # but its an older one, anyone have any ideas, I am stumped.i am not possitive but i don't think it has a spark whatever its called in the muffler, any help would be appritiated, yhank you

Not to seem rude but how do you expect someone to tell you how to fix it if you don't tell us what it is. Stihl makes and has been making trimmers all over the world for years, so would you please supply some additional information, like the complete model number and stuff, thanks. Have a good one. Geo

Sorry, I have a lot of Stihl info but nothing for a FS106. Sounds like a fuel delivery problem, make sure the fuel lines aren't broken in the tank. Have a good one. Geo

Sounds like it might have flooded after you cleaned the carb. You probably still have carb problems.

thanks guys, i probably do have some type of carb issue, but u would think it would atleast fire when u put fuel in the cylinder and crank it, it has a strong spark, but it won't even try to fire, now if i where to put a different plug in it after it sets all night, it will fire 1 time and then after that forget it, thx again
