Steiner Mower with Peerless Hydro transaxle

The Peerless transaxle model 2416 has a bad axle.

Anyone know where to get parts for this Peerless transaxle ???

Is that the only number on the tranny?

The numbers inside the tranny are 1423-P1 and 1516-P1. Number below the Model number 2416 are 8172-7298.

http://www.odref.com/peerless/2400-SERIES/2400-2416.PDF Look up the part numbers you need, then search them online or ebay. You may find a part here and there, but I don't know of anyone who carries a full line of these parts. That's a stong, tough tranny. Looking up parts using 2400 series might help broaden your results.

stihl trimmer won't start

We have a stihl weedeater where i stared working and so it wouldn't start, the boss said its just been laying around for yrs. Anyway its a big one with the handle bars. I cleaned the carburator on it, and put a new plug in it, and I had that thing singing. Ran it 4 hrs the next day. a week later I grag bbed it and went to start it and it fired but didn"t stat, so i took the ckoke off and tryed and nothing, tryed another plug and it fired one time and thats it, it was running great when i put it up, I can't remember the model # but its an older one, anyone have any ideas, I am stumped.i am not possitive but i don't think it has a spark whatever its called in the muffler, any help would be appritiated, yhank youRead More
