20 hp B& S motor stalls under load

I have a JD L120 mower and engine runs fine at idle but when i engage blades it stalls like out of gas. starts emitting black smoke sometimes white also. have drained all gas put in fresh gas and stab-il, replaced both plugs even replaced coil but still same problem. HELP please

Check the oil. Is it thin, and/or does it smell like gas?

What do you get with half throttle then engage the blades - same thing? If so think in terms of a safety switch.

I have a Mantis Tiller and I can't get it started. I have changed the Spark Plug, Changed the air filter and checked the on/off switch Wiring. Does anyone have an Idea?

toro model 20017 can't change the belt

:help:My Toro personal pace model 20017 needs a new belt. I have it, and cannot figure out how to remove the old one and install new one. I have the belt cover off and can see both pulleys but cannot remove old belt. I have the belt off the engine pulley, but cannot figure out how to remove it from the transmission pulley. Thank you.
