craftsman 3.5 hp Eager 1 Starts but dies after a few seconds.

Cleaned the carb, has fuel getting to it. no blocks in the fuel line. checked the cap to make sure its vented. even it wasn't, it has a hole in it. new spark plug, cleaned the coil it was caked with crud. any ideas?

You still have carb issues,, Post the engine numbers so we know what you have & someone will help you out with a part # for a carb kit .. You need to replace the O rings if it's the carb I'm thinking of...

It probably has a Tecumseh engine with a bowl type carb, if so the bowl nut(main jet) is probably clogged, the tiny hole near the top is usually the problem, I clean it with the wire from a twist tie, refer to pic below. Have a good one. Geo
