Toro model 20066

My Toro 20066 push mower started running rough. It will start fine but the engine revs up then slows down and keeps doing this until it stops. At that time it wont start right up until it sits awhile. Any thoughts??

Hard to tell without more info, most likely a fuel/air mixture problem of some sort. I would start easy and clean the carburetor and replace/clean the air filter.

Yep, the carburetor needs cleaning.

I think the bowl nut is the main jet on that carb, remove the bowl, clean out any gunk you find, clean the jet, has a hole across the bottom and one down through the center, reassemble, hopefully you will be good to go. Have a good one. Geo
