Craftsman 18.5 hP DYT 4000 (917.275642)
While mowing the grass the engine shut off. I relpaced a blown 30A fuse, but when I turned key new fuse blow immediately. Sounds like a bare wire but none found. Any ideas?

Unhook the negative battery cable, then connect a test light between the battery post and the cable. Then, put a new fuse in. The light will light up, but the fuse will not blow. Unplug the carb fuel solenoid if equipped so that it doesn't draw current, then unplug different components until the light goes off. When you find what turns the light off, you have narrowed the search.
